Red Rock Canyon sits to the west of Las Vegas.  Before I enjoyed exploring national parks I would never of even thought of looking for, let alone visiting areas like this.  As it would turn out the scenery along here would be a warm up to what we would later see to the Northeast in Zion National Park.  I certainly would recommend getting out and away from the the Las Vegas Strip for a while and taking in these views.
